Long time no see! So, it's been 7 months since I last updated the site, and I feel like such a bum. At first, it was because I was too busy with classes to update. Recently, however, I've just been afraid of all the work I'd have to put into it. I got down to it today, and it only took me about 5 hours. I guess I didn't have much to be afraid of.
Anyway, I've changed the layout of the site a bit. You can see the newest works are now displayed on the front page, alongside the news. On the work page, I've added an animation section (which will be completed soon) and changed the organization around for the other types of work. I still want to change what the text looks like on this page, but I haven't thought about it much. I hope you like it!

Well, it's been a month, and I've finally got the site up and running... granted, it's under a new domain name. But, I figure this one is just a bit less ambiguous as to which Conger's art this is. I'm still struggling to decide exactly how much of my art I want to keep on my site... and how I'll present it. I really like horizontally scrolling sites, like this one. So, I might still have the expanding divs on my work page, but let those contain horizontally scrolling galleries. I'm also toying around with the idea of having lightbox galleries on the homepage to showcase "new" art, rather than giving it its own div on the work page. We'll see how it goes. In the meantime, I've made some updates to the site (e.g. the header now points back to the homepage). Anyway, I hope everyone's having a great 2010!

Hey! Welcome to my new website. This is the first website I've built from scratch - what a rewarding experience! (Granted, I received a ton of help from my DigiFun intstructor, Sean Evans.) I'm really happy with the outcome. There are a lot of small features I've added, but there's one big one that you'll notice right away: I've put all my work on one page, with sliding elements which open to reveal thumbnail galleries. When you click the thumbnails, it will open a window called LightBox, which dims the site, and puts the image in a white frame. Within the frame, you can navigate through that specific gallery. I'm not completely finished, but it's mostly in working order. I've been so excited about getting my site back online that I had to release it early. Expect more polished looking front page text layout within a couple of weeks, depending on how busy I am with school. So, make yourself at home, and let me know what you think by commenting on my blog! (Link up there ^^^)
