More Animals

Commission!

Here’s hoping that the person for whom the client is having this done isn’t someone who reads my blog. Can you tell I’m much more comfortable drawing men than I am women?

Old lady

Just a sketch I whipped up while hanging out at CCS, tonight. I came home and threw a bit of color on it when I got home.

40 Animal Challenge, Day #1 – Fennec Fox

A friend of mine, Elisa Shupe, came up with the idea to draw an animal for each day (or so) just to keep us working throughout the summer. We each came up with a list of 20 animals, and created a list. Here’s the animal for day #1! The fennec fox.

Business Card!

Another update! Thanks to Josh and Patrick for the advice (as well as Dave and Lisa before them). Also, thanks to Zazzle for providing the ability to cancel orders. That was a bit hasty on my part. haha

Any more suggestions?

Site update!

As you can see, I’ve redesigned the blog. What you might not have noticed is that I’ve moved my portfolio to this page, as well. From now on, this is where www.TomCongerArt.com lives.

Hope you like it!

I just realized I had never posted this.

This is my final for Animation 2. I had it up on my Facebook page, but I hadn’t posted it here, yet.

Harry

I sat in on Pat’s Figure 1 class, for about an hour, today. It was a good time.

Gestures

Quick little sketches from the 2nd floor lobby.

Rock Stacking

I went to Stony, today, with the idea in my head that I would ride 24+ miles… it turned out to be ridiculously windy, so I only did about 10. I stopped at my favorite bit of shoreline, and found a pile of large rocks on the trail. There was no particular order to them… just laying there in a pile. So, I decided to stack them as high as I could. I got the first stack to be about 6’2″ tall, and then tried to use the rest of the rocks to make an interesting composition around it. I’ve always wanted to do this, so I guess I can finally cross it off my list.
