Nothing spectacular, here… but I’m pretty happy with these. They’re far better than anything else I’ve done at the zoo. And the giraffe’s neck looks short – he was the young one.

I was planning on sketching some faces, but I really liked this sketch, so I polished it up.
I’ll be painting this in the near future, I think.
After posting, I realized why the leash was bothering me so much… it’s not on the same plane as the t-rex feet. D’oh!
I hung out in Pat’s Figure Illustration class, again. I think a few of these came out really well.
