Quick run cycle test.

In other news, I’ll probably be transferring my portfolio over to my active Flickr account, so I can finally update my portfolio page. I still don’t know how I’m going to fix my animation page. I might just have all the video players embedded in a single column.

Here is what I’ve spent the past 5 weeks doing… a commercial for Kid Leashes! I was director, but mostly in name only… it was truly a group effort. Check the credits for my teammates’ names, and their duties. Hope you like it!

This is the “final,” tied-down version of my dance animation. I might work on it a bit on Monday, but probably not. And no, I have no idea what the hell that little guy is. =-)

BIGGER!

Angry Circle, with special guest, Sound!

I was bored, yesterday, so I made a sound track for this. If your speakers are quiet or small, you might not hear the low rumble that happens when the circle starts to vibrate. As before, click below to see it in full resolution.

Angry Circle animation

This animation was made for my 2D Digital Animation class. We were assigned a shape and an emotion which we had to convey through the motion of the shape. Click the links below to view the animation in full resolution!

Exquisite Corpse

We were told to draw a single frame, and pass it off to the person before us in the alphabet. We then had to animate from our frame to the frame we were given by the person ahead of us in the alphabet. Melissa Haggard decided to use found footage, so I had to animate to a frame of live action. My teacher called this “An Exquisite Corpse” after an game that surrealist painters would play in which they would fold a paper into thirds, and each person was to draw one third of a body without seeing the other parts, just to get humorous results.

Anyway, the link is below.

Dialogue Test #1

Here’s my first pass through a dialogue test. There are a couple things I want to fix (such as the left leg during the turn), but that won’t be until Tuesday. I figured I’d post this now just so you guys can see what I’ve been working on. Click the link below to watch it!
